The Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is updating their Zoning By-Law pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990,
C.P. 13 as amended. The Township will be holding a Public Meeting to provide information to the public and to receive comments from the public
in a formal manner.

                                                                                         The Purpose of the Public Meeting
The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand completed an update to its Official Plan which took effect December 22, 2015. Following the update to the Official
Plan, the Zoning By-law document is also proposed to be updated in order to conform to the Official Plan. The current Zoning By-law was approved on
August 25, 2010. A Zoning By-law is a tool used to regulate the use of land, buildings and structures; and, the placement of buildings and structures
within the Township. Any person may attend the Public Meeting to make written or verbal representation relating to the proposed Comprehensive Zoning By-Law.
